*Lexie Fyfe led the locker room in a 10-Bell salute and "Thank You Daffney" chant. Classy move from Impact here. Daffney will be missed.
* Rachael Ellering defeated Lady Frost with a Bosswomen Slam to advance in the Tournament. Real fun opener here. Lady Frost would be a nice pick-up for Impact. On a side note, Veda and Mickie James have been good on commentary. I also like the short intro packages before the tourney matches.
* Chelsea Green defeated Renee Michelle with a Jumping Unprettier to advance in the tournament. This match was different from the first with Renee working the arm of Chelsea.
* Mercedes Martinez defeated Brandi Lauren in a short match to advance in the tourney. I know Impact can't sign everyone but I hope they grab Martinez. She is a great veteran. If they ever spin the Knockouts into their own show, they have they people to do it. Brandi showed a lot of creepy character work here. She is a smiling zombie.
* Tasha Steelz defeated Jamie Senegal to advance. This was the weakest 1st round match. I wasn't impressed by Senegal. They promoted her as the protege of Daffney but I didn't see anything there.
* Deonna Purrazzo defeated Masha Slamovich with Venus De Milo. This was an incredible match. It took awhile to figure out Masha but she was impressive here. One of the better Impact KO Matches of the year.
* Mercedes Martinez defeated Rachael Ellering with a Leg Hook Guillotine Submission to advance to the finals. Another good tournament match. If Mercedes isn't signed after this, I would be really disappointed.
* Tasha Steelz defeated Chelsea Green to advance to the finals following a Frog Splash. At one point they kicked out of each other's finishers. Solid match. Tasha getting quite the push tonight
* Christy Hemme headed to the ring. She announced the next inductee into the Impact Hall of Fame...Awesome Kong. Kong gave a speech in the ring, dedicating it to Daffney. Awesome Kong is a true legend of the Knockouts Division. Outside of Gail, few have done as much for the women of Impact as her.
* Mercedes Martinez defeated Tasha Steelz with the OG Drop to win the Knockouts Tournament and earn a KO Title shot. Hoping Mercedes gets signed. She would be a huge addition to the roster. Big win here and I am excited to see what she does next.
* A video for the #TagMeIn, mental health campaign aired. Very cool. We completely support this campaign. Taking care of your mental health is so important.
* Decay defeated the Influence to retain the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Okay match but definitely not the best match of the night. The Influence got a phantom pin at one point which could set up a rematch at BFG.
* The show closed with a short vignette hyping the arrival of Iinspiration at Bound for Glory. Cool tease at the end. Impact could be the landing spot for a number of wrestlers. It will be interesting to see it they signings actually happen.
Overall Thoughts: Very good show. This is the best version of Knockouts Knockdown and a nice tribute to the Knockouts Division and Daffney. There were a number of great matches and it was fun seeing some potential new Knockouts. To top it off, we get Awesome Kong in the Hall of Fame and the arrival of the former Iiconics in Impact.
