On this day, ten years ago, Impact Asylum (formerly known as TNAsylum) was created. What began as a "safe haven" for TNA fans became one of the longest-running Impact Wrestling fan sites in existence.
Our site has evolved since 2010, just as TNA Wrestling has evolved over the years. TNAsylum was home to a magazine-style site focusing on original editorial content, daily news, Impact Recaps and more. In our first year, columns such as "On the Marqui", "TNA Top Ten", "The ClassX", "This Week on Impact!", "Talon's Take" and more were created to provide constant content to our followers. Over the years, our site has been a platform for a multitude of writers to talk TNA.
I want to take a few minutes to offer words of appreciation. First of all, I want to thank anyone and everyone who has helped me run this site over the last decade. JSO, AJ Jones, Old School Heel, Impact Dude, DDG and anyone else who I may have missed. I want to thank anyone who has ever written for this site. It was a pleasure featuring your work and designing logos for your columns. I want to thank the moderators who kept things respectful over the years. The variety of readers we have had being allowed to talk about the company we love has always set us apart from other sites. The moderators were the ones who helped us do that.
Most of all, I want to thank our readers. For many years, my goal has been to get TNAsylum to our 10-Year Anniversary. The faces of our readers have changed over the years but most of you have been supportive. Whether you have been with us since the beginning or have joined us along the way, we are appreciative of you choosing our site as your home.
I am very proud of what we have accomplished on this site, giving fans an outlet to speak of a promotion that they love. As long as we continue on, this site will remain consistent with that idea. We have changed along the way, both as a site and as individuals. TNA has changed. Thank you for joining us for this ride.
