What do you want to see on Tuesday? I’m hoping for a worked shoot promo by Callis and Omega like this:
Callis: “Yes, you’re not hallucinating, Kenny Omega is on Impact Wrestling. What you don’t know is this is what should have always been. Allow me to tell you a story. Myself and the Cleaner Kenny Omega go back a long time and, when I became EVP of Impact, Kenny was going to come here too. However, Kenny Omega is too generous for his own good sometimes and when Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks begged him to join them in this AEW project with Tony Khan, because let’s face it Tony Khan wasn’t doing AEW without Kenny Omega, he decided to save his “friends” once again.
There is no AEW without Kenny Omega. Even Tony Khan will admit his inspiration for AEW working was seeing Omega vs. Okada live main event a sold out Tokyo Dome.

There are no Young Bucks without Kenny Omega. Before Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks were nothing more than stage props for the Bullet Club. Then the Cleaner joined and worked his way up to the top of the Bullet Club and New Japan and carried them along for the ride. If it wasn’t for Kenny Omega, Nick and Matt Jackson would still be in Japan carrying the bags for a couple of Good Brothers (plant the seeds for Bucks vs Gallows and Anderson).
There is no Cody Rhodes without Kenny Omega. Before Kenny Omega, Cody was a Stamford, Conn. washout-until he hitched his wagon to Kenny Omega’s Elite. But that’s always been your MO hasn’t it Cody? Every bit of success you’ve had has come from latching on to someone else’s coattails- Randy Orton, Damian Sandow, Stephen Amell, the Elite, your brother, your Dad.
Finally, there would be no AEW without Kenny Omega and Don Callis. Look at the facts. Look how much Tony Khan took from me with his Daddy’s money.
You took Kenny, you took Kevin Sullivan and our production team. Wow, face and heel entrance tunnels-real original, wonder where you got that from Tony?
The Lucha Bros, Santana and Ortiz, Brian Cage.
Face it Tony, Jacksonville Dixie isn’t your nickname, it’s your business strategy.
But now, it’s a new day. Kenny Omega is the AEW champion and there’s no one that can take this title from him.
Who you got? Jon Moxley? He’s not even the best talent from his home state of Ohio. That guy works for me and does everything Moxley does but better (plant the seeds for Callihan vs. Moxley).
We got all the leverage and the power and Kenny Omega is done doing for others. Now, he and I are going to focus on doing what’s in our best interest. So, it’s time to renegotiate terms Tony. We’ll see you tomorrow at Dynamite to get started on that.”
I’d also plant the seeds for a couple other inter promotional matches with Promos. One would be Moose doing another TNA championship match invite to the best TNA talent to never hold the title (along with Monty Brown) Christopher Daniels.
Also, while promoting his match for Final Resolution, I’d have Ethan Page call out FTR and set that up. That gives four solid inter promotional matches set:
Callihan vs Moxley
Young Bucks vs Good Brothers
Moose vs Christopher Daniels
FTR vs. The North
