Welcome to Part Two of the Best of 2021. This part features some big categories such as Knockout of the Year, Tag Team of 2021, Match of the Year and Most Valuable Player. Please check out Part One here.
NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR
W. Morrissey (51%), Steve Maclin (16%), The Iinspiration (14%)
With AEW's incredible resources, it has been sucking up many of the top free agents in wrestling this year. With that said, Impact Wrestling has done a very good job attracting some interesting names. While not everyone has been a hit, there have been many hot prospects. Impact Asylum readers voted W. Morrissey as the newcomer of the year, debuting at Rebellion back in April. Morrissey has been incredible in promos backstage and has feuded with the likes of Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan and now Moose and Matt Cardona. Morrissey is a giant who has potential to continue being a main event player for this company.

TAG TEAM OF 2021
Fire N' Flava (29%), Finjuice (19%), Good Brothers (18%)
At the beginning of 2021, Impact brought back the Knockouts Tag Team Division. Many times during the year, it was stronger than the male division, which has been built around the Good Brothers. While Good Brothers are 2-time Tag Team Champions, fans voted the ever-entertaining Fire N' Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz) as tag team of the year. The tag team held the titles for around 7 months before dropping them to Decay. They had an excellent and fairly dominant run. Unfortunately, following their title loss, Kiera Hogan left Impact. Will we see Fire N' Flava again? It remains to be seen.

KNOCKOUT OF THE YEAR
Deonna Purrazzo (91%), Jordynne Grace (3%), Mercedes Martinez (2%)
The Knockouts Division in Impact Wrestling is one to be envied, a women's division that is consistently treated with respect and is one of the best in the world. It has a colorful cast of characters and had been home to some of the best. The best of the best though was Deonna Purrazzo, who carried 91% of the vote and had an incredible run as the face of the Knockouts. Her championship run lasted the first ten months of the year and included victories over names like Rosemary, Havok, ODB, Tenille Dashwood, Thunder Rosa and more. On top of this, Deonna Purrazzo also retired Jazz and became the first-ever Homecoming Queen. She is one that many other women aspire to be.

MATCH OF THE YEAR
Josh Alexander vs TJP- Iron Man Match (62%), Kenny Omega vs Sami Callihan (10%), Kenny Omega vs Rich Swann (9%)
Impact Wrestling has had a track record of having very solid matches, usually in the X Division. This year there was a long list of very good matches for the wrestling enthusiasts. Kenny Omega vs Rich Swann from the incredible main event at Rebellion came in third, the brutal No DQ Match between Sami Callihan and Kenny Omega from Slammiversary came in second. Topping the list was the grueling Josh Alexander vs TJP Match from BTI and Impact that will go down as one of Impact's longest matches in history. This was a pure classic with these two excellent athletes showing strength, technique and athleticism. The presentation was beautiful with the locker room coming ringside for the closing minutes of the match. It was this match that propelled Alexander into the role of "King of the Mountain" and kickstart his adventure to the World Championship.
