Best of the X

Leon Slater (89%)

Runner Up: Myron Reed (6%)

Leon Slater had a very good year, chasing after the X Division Championship for the first half. He nearly captured it in Ultimate X before it was snatched away by Moose at the last second. Slater got redemption at Slammiversary, finally defeating Moose to become the X Division Champion. It didn't stop there as AJ Styles returned to the company for one night and put over Leon on the mic. Leon was a successful champion, with defenses over the summer against the likes of Myron Reed, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann and AJ Francis. He was also involved in a Match of the Year Candidate where he went toe to toe with Je'Von Evans. He has recently been featured heavily on NXT, being able to team with Evans against AJ Styles in a tag team match. Leon is scheduled to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT World Title in the new year.

NXT Crossover Star of the Year

Trick Williams (81%)

Runners Up: Jacy Jayne (9%), J'Evon Evans (4%)

While there were plenty of NXT stars that appeared in TNA this year, the most successful star was Trick Williams, who won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at NXT Battleground. Through successful title defenses against Joe Hendry, Mike Santana, Elijah, Moose and more, Trick turned TNA into Trick N'A. He held the World Title until Bound for Glory, having a very successful title run in the process.

Show of the Year

Bound for Glory (44%)

Runners Up: Slammiversary (38%), Genesis (11%)

The crown-jewel PPV of the year set a near attendance record with nearly 8,000 people in attendance. Along with having an electric crowd in Boston, we had a stacked card with a number of high-profile matches. Leon Slater and JE'Von Evans tore the house down in a no contest. The Hardys and Team 3D went at it one last time in "One Last Table" before Team 3D hung up their boots for good. Mike Santana finally defeated Trick Williams to capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. The card was rounded out by a controversial double Winner in Call Your Shot and an excellent Hardcore War Match between The System and Order 4.

News Story of the Year

TNA Announces Deal With AMC (58%)

Runners Up: AJ Styles Returns to TNA (22%), TNA and NXT Form Partnership (16%)

From a business standpoint, this was a very successful year for TNA, drawing record crowds numerous times throughout the year. There were decisions that could and should be criticized (Creative Direction and the Post-BFG Break) but TNA made up for a lot of it just recently by announcing a major new TV deal with AMC (the home of Walking Dead and Breaking Bad). Starting in 2026, TNA Thursday Night Impact would air every Thursday on AMC, reaching a SIGNIFICANTly larger audience than anything in recent years for TNA. This is a new opportunity for the company and could potentially be a game changer.

Faction of the Year

Order 4 (51%)

Runners Up: Elegance Brand (23%), The System (19%)

Order 4 was voted as Faction of the Year due to their dominance under the leadership of Mustafa Ali. While there was some in-fighting during the spring, the group came together around Slammiversary to help elevate Ali closer to the main event scene. Their secret Weapon, Agent Zero became a dominant threat and was vital in helping them during their Hardcore War with the "old Guard" The System.

Knockout of the Year

Ash By Elegance (40%)

Runners Up: Masha Slamovich (27%), Dani Luna (13%)

Ash by Elegance is the Knockout of the Year as a result of reclaiming the TNA Knockouts Title that was lost to Jacy Jayne. After winning the title in a 3-Way, Ash defended the title over the summer. She led her cohorts in the Elegance Brand to Knockouts Tag Team Gold as well. Unfortunately, due to an undisclosed health issue, Ash had to relinquish the title at Victory Road. Even being sidelined, Ash continues to play a non-physical role in the company.

Tag Team of 2025

The Hardys (81%)

Runners Up: The Nemeths (9%), The Rascalz (6%)

It comes as no surprise that Matt and Jeff Hardy were easily voted as tag team of 2025. As two faces who command some of the biggest audience responses in every venue they go to, Matt and Jeff won the Tag Titles on numerous occasions this year. They hosted their own special, defended the tag titles against the likes of the Nemeths, The Rascalz and Team 3D. They also at one time held both the TNA and NXT Tag Titles, being some of the only talent to win an NXT Title. It looks like the Hardys will continue to be a cornerstone of the TNA Tag Team Division heading into 2026.

Most Memorable Moment

AJ Styles Endorses Leon Slater at Slammiversary (56%)

Runners Up: Joe Hendry Appears at Wrestlemania (13%), Santana Captures the World Title at BFG (10%)

When AJ Styles left TNA in 2014, most people thought he would never return to the company. AJ was successful in other companies such as New Japan, ROH and eventually WWE, where he won numerous titles over the years and participated in many matches with legends of the sport. It was a beautiful moment to see a man so instrumental to the growth of TNA return at the anniversary of the show that he helped put on the map. While many argue that AJ Styles was bigger than TNA, his one-night return to endorse the youngest X Division Champion in history was a beautiful way to pay back the company he grew up in.

Match of the Year

Mike Santana vs Mustafa Ali: Falls Count Anywhere at Rebellion (23%)

Runners Up: Tessa Blanchard vs Jordynne Grace (15%), Mike Santana vs Josh Alexander (15%)

TNA has had its fair share of Match of the Year Contenders this year. You could consider Leon Slater vs Je'Von Evans, Slater vs Moose, Santana vs Josh Alexander, or many others. Mike Santana vs Mustafa Ali at Rebellion was a culmination of a heated rivalry between the two that included kidnapping and addressing demons. The two left it all on the line taking the battle all around the arena in a physical war. In the end, Santana finally came out on top settling the issue with Ali once and for all.

MVP of TNA

Mike Santana (68%)

Runners Up: Frankie Kazarian (10%), The Hardys (9%)

Mike Santana showed why he was the heart and soul of TNA in 2025. Along with heated and personal rivalries with Josh Alexander and Mustafa Ali and some beautiful moments with Amazing Red, Konnan and his daughter, Mike Santana was the one who finally recaptured the TNA World Title at the biggest show of the year. BFG was a highlight but then his momentum was cut off when he had the World Title stolen from him by Frankie Kazarian and the NXT Outlaws. He is going through them one by one and will have Kazarian in his crosshairs as he wins the TNA World Title once again.
