The UK tour draws great numbers each year. Every January, they do a number of double tapings, and they’re some of the best crowds of the year. So don't change that; keep it all the same—the venues (add more would be good), the time of year, the price—everything if it's not broken, don't fix it. Also get British Boot camp 3 going. Okay, my ideas...feel free to critique.
1. British Brawl - The UK fans have been calling out for one thing: a big PPV. Yeah, you could bring Slammiversary or BFG to the country, but there is an opportunity to create a third big PPV. My idea is a bit like the Royal Rumble. The British Brawl match: 20 men over-the-top rope, gauntlet-style TNA world title match with a couple of unique twists. Every competitor brings a weapon to the ring. Hardy brings a ladder, Abyss brings Janice, Storm brings a beer bottle, and so on. The champion’s advantage: he comes in at 20 with the world title belt as his weapon. Make it a thing every year and take it to various UK arenas.
2. Season Pass - For all the big 4 PPVs, Lockdown and British Brawl included. A bit like video game downloadable content, you get all the PPV’s for a cheaper price than if you bought them all separately. So an actual physical card that can be sold at live events, ShopTNA, and so on. The way the TNA fans in Manchester were lapping up the merchandise you could have sold plenty there. Netflix is probably not an option but just a TNA app that you can stream to your smart TV.
3. X-Division Show - I have always liked the X-Division, even when they have put little effort into it. The matches have always been good quality, but let's get some more stories. Hopefully, Helms versus Tigre Uno is the start of that. My idea is an X-Division show in small venues in the UK in the areas the big double tapings are not. Spud, Mandrews, Petey Williams, Sonjay, Uno, and other talents. Have it end toward of the year so you can sell tickets to the big events. Should it be a one hour show with stories, matches and Knockouts? Yes. Have a X-Division and a Knockouts title match. Have a series of talents features like Kay Lee Ray, Jade, Nikki Storm, etc. Some heavyweight guys can be introduced and tape some X-plosion matches for them. Maybe a bigger name GM for a bit of star power too.
Well there you go: 3 ideas to keep the ball rolling in the UK. Thanks for reading.
