*The opening with EC3 and The Hardys was interesting. It was good to see Jeff Hardy back in TNA once again. I have great fears that he won't be ready for BFG come October 4th but we will see. Matt Hardy will get a rematch for the title but if he loses next week, Jeff will become the personal assistant for EC3. My guess is that Matt loses and we get some entertaining segments of EC3 trying to humiliate Jeff before Jeff battles back. Is there enough time to do that before Bound For Glory though?
*Eric Young vs Chris Melendez was okay. The finish was a little sloppy. I like the idea of Melendez losing his leg to EY as it makes Young look like more of a dick. Melendez needs to get that leg back. With that said, I would like to see both men finally move on. They have been battling all Summer.
*The X Division Championship was completely random and had no build. The action was solid but there was no real reason for the match. All three championship matches felt like filler which is the opposite of what you want a championship to represent. Sonjay Dutt has some of the worst music in all of wrestling. Its lame.
*Speaking of random matches, Wolves vs The Revolution was just that. What have the Revolution done to earn a tag title match? This was more about Storm and Shera. Those two will meet down the road. Manik looks to be next to split off from the group.
*Brooke vs Velvet Sky was forgettable. What has Velvet done to earn a title shot? I did like the post-match attack from the Dollhouse. Adding Rebel to the group hopefully will start the rebuild. Taryn Terrell was as gorgeous as ever in that short video.
*The Fatal Four Way was a fun main event match. I liked the interaction between Anderson and Lashley at the midpoint. I also liked the finish of Roode scouting Storm turning on him to only finish him with the Roode Bomb. This felt like the start of a face turn with Roode challenging for the KOTM Title next week.
*I honestly don't know what to say about the Jarrett/Dixie segment. In the spoilers it sounded better but I don't think the presentation was great here. Dixie always comes off as naive while Jarrett keeps coming off as some sort of savior for TNA. I am happy that my original guess of Jeff didn't come true even if we ended up with the same conclusion. Drew Galloway continues to be built up as the number one face in TNA.
I did like the Jarrett turn and GFW beatdown. Hopefully this gives the program some momentum in the coming weeks. I have been losing interest in TNA, which is a horrible thing with BFG coming up.
