The very first segment of this episode of Impact is the very first “Where are you Cherry Bomb?” segment in TNA after Rosemary took her out two weeks ago.
-The Matt Hardy Brand comes out to the ring (without Thug Life) to introduce their newest members: The Helms Dynasty. Helms Dynasty cuts a promo on the X Division and Eddie Edwards in particular.
EC3 confronts the Hardy Brand, and eventually is followed by Eddie Edwards and Jeff Hardy setting up a Handicapped match in the main event tonight.
We get a shot and acknowledgment of Allysin Kay sitting in the front row.
-In a backstage segment we see Robbie E asking Dixie & Corgan for a KOTM title shot; we see the rookie Mr. M80 interrupt and say that look at everything he’s already done and has beaten the champion already. Dixie & Corgan tell them they have to think about it and will get back to them both in due time.
Dixie & Corgan then announce their will be one last drawing of Jokers Wild teams for those who left to get the final wild card spots to enter the Gauntlet Battle Royal to get the title shot at Slammiversary. They announce that they will do the drawing themselves later on tonight and teams will be announced later on in the show.
MATCH # 1:
THUG LIFE comes out to the ring w/Rockstar Spud and O’Shea beging goading The Pope to fight them. To find a partner and to grow a pair, etc. Pope finally gets worked up enough and gets in the ring with Thug Life while Spud runs out of the ring.
Pope tells them that if they want a fight then they’ll do it. Pope says he has his Joker’s Wild match tonight but he will go find a partner because he is sure that plenty of people want to kick their asses, and he’ll fight them next week. O’Shea tells Pope that he clearly already has a partner.
We then see Spud throw Josh Matthews in the ring. O’Shea and Pope start brawling but then Tyrus powerslams and splashes Josh Matthews. Pope gets the upperhand on O’Shea and then covers up his partner while getting beat up by all three until Tyrus splashes Pope while he is hovering over Josh Matthews.
Jeremy Borash comes out to do commentary. He is then joined by The King himself, Eli Drake and Rebel accompanies Drake to the booth. Pope eventually joins the booth and does commentary with his Jokers Wild partner for the rest of the show.
Commentary Team for the show is now JB, Pope, and Eli Drake with Rebel sitting next to Drake
-Gail Kim comes out to the ring and grabs a microphone. She puts over Cherry Bomb, and says she wants her rematch but first she has unfinished business with Rosemary for what she did to Cherry Bomb and that she wants to teach Rosemary a lesson first.
(During Gail’s promo we see Allysin Kay stand up and start yelling causing a scene, Gail will say something to her and get heated until The Nobodies begins to play)
The Decay accompanies Rosemary as she discusses how much she hates Cherry Bomb and the pleasure she got from putting her in the hospital but left her alone to suffer. Rosemary comes down to fight Gail Kim. Rosemary starts marching down and begins to have an impromptu fight with Gail Kim.
While Gail and Rosemary begin brawling, Allysin Kay hops the guardrail and begins assaulting Gail Kim. Security comes out to break up the fighting women, and The Decay grabs Rosemary bringing her away when all of a sudden Pepper Parks smashes Abyss with a chair and begins to assault both men in The Decay and lays them down when he then starts walking after Rosemary to get revenge until she sprays mist in his eyes. More security and even roster members come out to separate all parties and to escort Allysin Kay out of the building.
We see a quick backstage segment showing Jesse Godderz checking himself out in the mirror stating that he is going to go and visit Cherry Bomb in the hospital right now because the time is right and he doesn’t have to worry about Parks interrupting right now.
Match # 2: Jokers Wild Tournament Match where the winners advance to the Gauntlet Battle Royal: James Storm & Robbie Edgar defeat Tyrus & Rockstar Spud after Pope interferes and helps Robbie score the pinfall.
Notes: Borash will frequently mention that we will get part 1 of an interview with James Storm done by Mike Tenay explaining his actions towards Bobby Roode last week later tonight
After the match is over Storm will superkick his partner Robbie Edgar
This leads to JW partners Pope & Eli Drake arguing the entire rest of the show until their match later on as Drake is mad Pope isn’t focusing on them getting the victory.
-Earl Hebner is in the ring with a microphone. Baby Earl talks about making a mistake that cost Eddie Edwards the X Division championship. Hebner says it obviously was far from the first mistake he’s made as a referee but it is his last. Earl states that he is retiring from officiating wrestling matches and retiring as a Hall of Famer. Hebner then states that he isn’t retiring from wrestling at all though. He’s spoken to Corgan and Dixie Carter and he is going to become a rules and officiating consultant, and he will be analyzing matches and officiating to fix the wrongs in wrestling and to eliminate most of the errors in wrestling to make things better for the wrestlers and the fans.
-Mr. M80 approaches Pepper Parks in the back and tells him that he understands why he did that to The Decay. But, tells him they have business to take care of first. M80 tells Parks that they gotta get in that Gauntlet Battle Royal first and then mess with the Decay later. M80 warns Parks that Decay is sadistic and not the kind of people you want to start shit with. But, says he thinks they’re such a good team being thrown together that they can win the tag titles from Decay. M80 then reminds him that he’s beaten Eli Drake, and gonna win the Gauntlet and will be a rookie holding all three of those belts in TNA at once.
-Part 1 of the James Storm interview with Mike Tenay
James Storm essentially talks about how it was all a set up and that he’s the same person he was before he left TNA. He mentions how the devil just fooled Bobby Roode and the entire Impact roster and fanbase. Storm will mention that Roode hogged all the glory, got the company behind him, etc. while Storm has been the best guy in the business that still gets no respect. Storm says that he is the real Mr. TNA and that he ran Bobby Roode out of Impact Wrestling and sent him off to go compete where the competition is weak, and in a place where he can hide from him.
MATCH # 3: JOKERS WILD MATCH WHERE WINNERS ADVANCE TO THE GAUNTLET FOR GOLD BATTLE ROYAL:

Dixie announces that there will be a mini-tournament next week to determine which two wrestlers who have lost will get redemption and get a shot to compete for a shot at the TNA World Champion at Slammiversary.
The Teams are announced: Abyss & Crazzy Steve; Trevor Lee & Pierre Marceau; Jesse Godderz & Andrew Everett; Mark Andrews & Eddie Edwards.
Billy Corgan then states that since The Decay have such an unfair advantage, they will be defending the tag team titles in their first match and that the tag team titles will be defended in every match next week that the champions will be even if The Decay are defeated.
Dixie Carter then states that since Bobby Roode was ran out by James Storm & The Decay last week, and may never be seen again that one wrestler was left out of the drawing who was Zema Ion. Dixie states that even though Zema lost the past JW match, this is a wild card opportunity and they’ve decided to give Zema Ion an X Division title match on Impact in the near future.
-Drew Galloway comes thru the crowd and enters the ring. He calls out the man who beat him for the briefcase at Sacrifice. Bennett comes out with Maria who is holding the briefcase and with Jade with them.
Galloway tells Bennett to be a man, and give him a rematch to get his briefcase back like he did for him. Bennett talks about how this company needs a miracle, and that the Miracle has the key to becoming the champion this company needs, and he tells Galloway no and walks away.
MATT HARDY, G.S. HELMS, TREVOR LEE & ANDREW EVERETT DEFEAT EC3, JEFF HARDY & EDDIE EDWARDS
Kaleb Konley debuts and interferes in the match enabling a 5 on 3 situation temporarily and allows for Andrew Everett to hit his finisher on Eddie Edwards for the pinfall.
*Note: main event ending and all of the interference is for a reason to be acknowledged next week.

-Earl Hebner is shown in the back walking in to speak to both Dixie & Billy Corgan. Hebner states that last week, especially in the main event is the reason why he suggested this position be created in TNA and he’s thinking of ways to fix this problem in the future. Earl mentions how it’s just that much more unfortunate that Eddie Edwards got screwed over and pinned again. He says having Eddie lose out on money because of that and sinking his chances at a title shot is not fair.
Dixie & Corgan both agree, they state that they know they made the right decision in creating Earl’s position in TNA and that they know Earl is the right person to fix wrestling forever. Dixie then asks Earl to keep up the good work and to pay attention tonight because they have a big announcement.
-Surprise music plays: The Pope’s music hits and he comes out to the ring. He cuts a promo by stating that he is coming back to the booth but he’s got plans first. Pope cuts a promo on Thug Life and states that he is going to beat each one of them individually in the way that Pope talks. Pope talks about how they’re punks and bullies especially for what they did to Josh Matthews, etc. Thug Life & Spud confront him briefly with Spud stepping up to wrestle Pope tonight.

-Jade comes out to the ring for a celebration after her win at ONO Knockouts Knockdown last weekend. Jade talks about how TNA is becoming a Kingdom Of Miracles and that Maria is the Queen of the Knockouts and Queen of TNA. Jade then gives her crown that she won at ONO and presents it to Maria Kanellis Bennett. Maria gives an acceptance speech the way that she does.
Allysin Kay is shown in the front row again and cheering along.
Gail Kim’s music plays and she walks out to confront Jade and Maria. Gail is looking to get a rematch with Jade at Slammiversary after she gets through with Rosemary by that time. Maria tells Gail that there is no longer a rematch clause and that just like Mike Bennett holds the cards and power with his briefcase, Jade and Maria have the KO’s championship and they hold the cards and Gail isn’t getting another shot.
Madison Rayne comes out to the ring with Velvet with her. Madison starts talking about how she is the only Queen in TNA and that Maria hasn’t earned anything in TNA and that she doesn’t even wrestle, etc. She gets into it with Jade and gets under her skin enough to where Jade tells Madison she’ll give her the first crack at the belt and Gail will never get another shot at her belt again.
Velvet leaves the ring and begins getting into it with Allysin Kay on the outside. Velvet swings on AK47 and then Madison hops out to break up the fight. Gail turns to them and gets blindsided with the belt by Jade. Maria then beats on an unconscious Jade while security and Madison are with Velvet in her situation.
(TNA then airs a promo commercial plugging ONO Knockouts KnockDown)
-We return from the commercial break. E-li Drake leaves his valet Rebel at ringside to remain on commentary with JB. Drake says that he is leaving to go and get ready for his match later in the evening. But, states that first he’s gotta get down to the bottom of this and takes a microphone and interviews Allysin Kay.
AK47 states that she may end up suing TNA after what just happened. AK47 states that she was robbed out of a contract with TNA in her Gutcheck match a few weeks ago. Allysin Kay states that there is video evidence that Cherry Bomb pinned her but her foot was under the rope the whole time. She tells Drake that Cherry got two bogus pinfalls in that match to get her contract and that Earl Hebner clearly has a lot on his plate because the officiating in TNA is horrible. AK47 then states that she was the best of all the KO’s in her Gutcheck match and that she’s the best female wrestler alive. She states that Velvet doesn’t belong in her ring and that she sees women like Velvet who make her sick and that she should have Velvet’s spot on the roster.
MATCH # 4: JOKERS WILD MATCH, WINNERS ADVANCE TO GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD TITLE SHOT AT SLAMMIVERSARY:
Bobby Lashley & Drew Galloway defeat Aiden O’Shea & Mike Bennett. (Galloway & Bennett end up brawling in the crowd at one point) Lashley pins O’Shea; Galloway gets the better of Bennett in the stands. He comes from out of the crowd afterwards and comes back on the ramp and then gets speared by Lashley as he is walking back to the dressing room.
-James Storm interview with Mike Tenay part 2: Storm reveals that he has been the mastermind behind The Decay this entire team since he has been back in TNA, and that he has had Abyss’ mind and ear the entire time while he was gone.

She states that the inmates are running the asylum, and that not only are her and Billy busy enough as it is outside the arena, but neither is a wrestler and the wrestlers are starting to get threatening and not respecting them enough.
Dixie states that they’ve been considering names, and will find the right person but we will have a Commissioner for TNA as soon as possible and when they find the right person for the job.
Zema Ion is backstage with Eddie Edwards and his recent partner Mark Andrews wishing them good luck and to go prove what the X Division is all about.
MATCH # 7: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH & JOKERS WILDCARD FINALE MATCH FOR A SPOT IN THE GAUNTLET FOR GOLD MATCH:
The Decay defeat Eddie Edwards and Mark Andrews. (This match is intended to go balls to the wall and really tease Eddie & Mandrews coming extremely close to winning the belts and is intended to be a very good close championship match)
“Trouble Trouble Trouble…” hits and EC3 comes out to the arena and the TNA Heavyweight Champion takes a seat at the commentary booth with JB for the night.
-The Matt Hardy Brand comes out (minus Thug Life) and they cut a promo where Matt Hardy continues talk about his lawyers and that if he isn’t given his title shot back to him then he’s filing a lawsuit unless he wins the Battle Royal via forfeit this evening, etc. Basically cutting the same shit as he was doing every week.
G.S. Helms then begins to talk, and says that due to other issues last week they were not able to introduce the newest member of the Matt Hardy Brand and Helms Dynasty, and he introduces Kaleb Konley. Helms talks about how is in charge of the X Division roster, and that he was allowed to sign a wrestler a while back and he chose carefully and wisely allowing Konley to debut at the right time and join them, etc.
When we get back from commercial break, we get the latest “Where Are You Cherry Bomb?” vignette.
MATCH # 1: The Pope defeats Aiden O’Shea. After the match, Tyrus attacks Pope and hits a big splash on him. Thug Life double teams Pope until EC3 leaves the booth and clears the ring before returning.
We get a plug for ONO Knockouts Knockdown
-Mike Bennett cuts a promo backstage with Maria & Jade in the background. Bennett talks about him not being in the Battle Royal tonight doesn’t matter at all because he has the briefcase. Bennett talks about it being important for him to scout this match tonight because the winner of this match tonight is possibly going to be the person he cashes in and defeats to become TNA World Champion, and that he will be out at ringside to commentate the main event with EC3 and JB.
(THIS IS LITERALLY THE ONLY TIME THAT YOU WILL SEE ME USE A TALENT THAT IS NOT ON THE IMPACT ROSTER BECAUSE I FEEL THAT THIS PERSON WORKS FOR THIS ROLE AND TNA COULD ACTUALLY AFFORD AND GET THIS PERSON FOR THIS SPOT)
-Dixie Carter and Billy Corgan come out to the ring and announce the new commissioner of TNA. Dixie will state that they received a phone call and a pitch, and that they immediately knew they had the right person for the job and the search ended earlier than expected.
Corgan says that this is a person who knows the business, knows TNA, has been a world champion in TNA and a world champion elsewhere. A person who understands the motives on why people do good in this business, and why people do bad in this business as well.
Dixie Carter then states that this person is also the first inductee for the 2016 TNA Hall Of Fame and your new TNA Commissioner…RAVEN!
Dixie & Corgan leave as Raven grabs the mic and talks very briefly. Raven states he has been watching Impact every week since he left but that he still has a lot of work to do. He says that tonight he is going to be in his office laying down a foundation and going over every detail and signing a contract with Dixie and Corgan, and wants to meet with Earl Hebner. But, he has a couple things to take care of first; he says after watching the Knockouts getting out of control last week that tonight Jade is going to defend the Knockouts championship against Madison Rayne. He then walks over to the front row and confronts Allysin Kay. He tells her that he saw her Gutcheck match and he tells her that she has a valid complaint. After the fiasco from last week, she will get her shot at a TNA contract. So, tonight it will be Allysin Kay against Velvet Sky and if AK47 wins she gets a TNA contract, and if Velvet Sky loses then she loses her TNA contract.
MATCH # 2
Kaleb Konley defeats Tigre Uno (During this match we get a picture in picture promo from Mark Andrews on the X Division as whole, and that they don’t get enough respect and how him & Zema still have unfinished business with The Tribunal)
MATCH # 3: CONTRACT VS CAREER MATCH
Allysin Kay (in street clothes) defeats Velvet Sky in a dominant performance
Tyrus comes out to the ring accompanied by Aiden O’Shea & Spud.
Tyrus says that he has his Bound For Gold title shot still available. He says that tonight we find out who is going to challenge EC3 at Slammiversary, but he then states that unless Matt Hardy walks out as the world champion at Slammiversary he is facing the world champion immediately after the world title match at the PPV, and that he hopes to God that it’s still EC3 so he can pay him back for good and to be the first man to ever pin his shoulders to the ground.
Earl Hebner is seen in the back talking to Raven; Earl tells Raven that the way three way matches are done is unfair. It’s not fair to the champion, and not fair to the person who does not get pinned either. He suggests to Raven that all three way matches be elimination rules.
Raven tells Hebner that it’s the way three way matches originated in the real ECW, and that it’s the way all three way matches should be, and that the rule has been officially changed.
Earl tells Raven that he’s got some other stuff going on he’s analyzed and he has some other ideas and needs his input and suggestions too, and the camera fades away as Raven closes the door…
A PLUG FOR ONO KNOCKOUTS KNOCKDOWN AIRS
MATCH # 4: KNOCKOUT’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Jade defeats Madison Rayne
-Final part of the James Storm interview with Mike Tenay; Storm states he’s the smartest man in the entire business and that he was pulling strings in TNA while resting his body while getting paid beating up lesser opponents in a company loaded with pussies.
Storm then rants about how he’s Mr. TNA but has never gotten the respect that he deserves so he no longer respects TNA. He talks about the company pulling his world title reign away from him, and taking away promises they made him. Storm states he is going to become the top guy in the company on his own and that Dixie’s little nephew is in for hell if he thinks he’s the top dog in TNA.
MATCH # 5: X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP (During this match we get a promo from Edwards in the bottom rand hand corner on Trevor Lee and wanting a rematch but states he wants the X Division champion regardless even if he has to fight a guy he likes in Zema Ion)
Trevor Lee defeats Zema Ion clean in a hard fought, highly competitive match
After the match Zema is alone in the ring, and Mark Andrews comes out to the ramp clapping for his partner and gets the crowd involved with cheers as well. Mandrews would hopefully start an “X-Duh-viz-in” chant as Zema makes it up to him…and then The Tribunal attacks both men before security removes The Tribunal
MATCH # 6: 10 MAN GAUNTLET BATTLE ROYAL WHERE THE WINNER GETS WORLD TITLE SHOT, CAN ONLY BE ELIMINATED BY BEING THROWN OVER THE TOP ROPE:
Mike Bennett joins EC3 and JB for commentary this week and this where the EC3 & Bennett feud gets teased a lot stronger.
2 Jeff Hardy
3 Matt Hardy
4 Pepper Parks
5 Drew Galloway
6 Mr. M80 Marshee Rocket
8 Robbie Edgar
9 Crazzy Steve
10 James Storm
Matt Hardy eliminates Jeff Hardy during this match after he comes in third and hits Hardy with brass knuckles numerous times while Lashley stands back and allows it to happen. Jeff Hardy will be busted open and unconscious, leaving on a stretcher.
Pepper Parks will have revenge on his mind as he goes after The Decay hard after Abyss hits the ring and later on Steve. Mr. M80 will get involved and help his JW partner out also. This leads to Rosemary getting in the ring and spraying the mist in the eyes of Pepper Parks before Steve eliminates him.
Raven will come to ringside and make sure that Rosemary gets escorted away from the match
Final Five: Decay, James Storm, Lashley, Galloway
James Storm will send The Decay to attack Lashley and Galloway, but Lashley will eliminate Abyss, and Galloway will throw Crazzy Steve out of the ring.
Mike Bennett hops up from the commentary booth, hops up on the apron and grabs Galloways arm stopping him from running and hitting the Claiborne kick. Bennett while still holding Galloway’s arm will begin to pull until Galloway’s other nemesis Lashley comes over and dumps Galloway over the top rope.
The final two are James Storm and Lashley. Both men will brawl back and forth before doing the Royal Rumble 1994 finish with Bret Hart and Lex Luger where both men fall over the top rope at the same time and hit the floor at the same time as well. The show goes off the air with both men proclaiming themselves the winner.
